The system is not a cladding material but rather a number of individual components that work together to compartmentalise the fire.
Integrated into the building fire management system or installed independently as a passive fire barrier, the ISB barricade system cleverly minimises the spread of flame allowing fire services to quickly bring the fire under control.
Tested to AS 5113, the ISB Barricade system is triggered as the fire begins to spread, deploying its built-in barrier to effectively prevent the fire from engulfing the facade of the building.
Further protection to the building structure is provided via the ISB Cavity Barrier System. Unlike intumescent cavity barrier devices, the ISB Cavity Barrier is instantaneous reacting the instant either flame is detected within cavity or the temperature within the cavity reaches dangerous levels.
